Tips for a great party photo booth setup
- Pick a spot with good light. Near a window during the day, or set up a ring light at night. Avoid corners with harsh overhead fluorescents.
- Keep props visible and accessible. Pile them in a basket or hang them on hooks next to the backdrop. If guests can't find them, they won't use them.
- Limit to 10–15 props. Too many choices = decision paralysis. Pick the funniest, most photogenic ones and retire the rest.
- Add a caption card holder. Guests grab a card, hold it up, snap. It's low-effort and high-reward for candid, shareable photos.
